Village house in Soubes, Languedoc
Soubès is a small hillside village of 600 inhabitants near Lodève
in the Hérault region of Southwestern France.
It nestles in the foothills of the Larzac Plateau on the North and
is surrounded by rolling vineyards in the South that continue to
the Mediterranean Sea 55 kilometres away. There are numerous
vineyards in the immediate area, including Mas de Daumas
Gassac, and stunning gorges to the North and East.
